The team from Target recently visited the headquarters and manufacturing facilities of Arsenal Firearms in Italy. The visit was part of a professional excursion aimed at better understanding the production process and the quality of the firearms they sell.
Arsenal Firearms is renowned for its innovation and high-quality products, making the visit incredibly educational and inspiring for the entire team. During the visit, they observed the production of legendary models such as the AF 2011 Dueller, Strike One, Strike One Speed, Strike One Ergal, and Mark 2.
Exceptional quality of manufacture
Upon entering the manufacturing facilities, the Target team immediately noticed the exceptional attention to detail that Arsenal Firearms dedicates to its products. Every piece of weaponry was crafted with precision and care, ensuring top-notch quality and reliability. The production process incorporates the latest technology and stringent quality controls, guaranteeing that each final product meets the highest standards.
Special emphasis was placed on testing various firearm models, providing insights into the technical features and performance of each model. For instance, the AF 2011 Dueller, a double-barreled pistol, is a true engineering masterpiece that combines tradition with innovation. It is made from the finest materials, ensuring its durability and accuracy.
Strike One model
One of the most intriguing and innovative models they examined was the Strike One. First introduced in 2012, this model immediately attracted attention for its unique design and exceptional performance. The Strike One is also known as "Strizh" (swift bird) in Russia.
The Strike One is a semi-automatic pistol with a polymer or Ergal frame, operating on a short recoil principle with a striker-fired mechanism. The distinctive feature of this pistol is the use of the Bergmann system, first introduced in the Bergmann–Bayard pistol. This system allows the barrel to remain level during recoil, locking with a Y-shaped part that secures the barrel and slide. When the Y-shaped part drops, it releases the barrel, which stops its movement while the slide continues backward, ejecting the spent cartridge and loading a fresh round. On its return path, the Y-shaped locking piece re-engages, and the barrel and slide move forward together.
The Strike One is designed for +P+ ammunition and is specifically tailored for Russian 9×19mm 7N21 and 7N31 ammunition, which is comparable in performance to the .357 SIG. The pistol is available in multiple calibers, including 9×19mm Parabellum, 9×21mm IMI, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W. The low bore axis, measuring only 12 mm from the barrel axis to the top of the grip, allows for better control and increased accuracy during shooting.
Other innovations
In addition to the Strike One, the team also observed other models such as the Strike One Speed, Strike One Ergal, and Mark 2. Each of these models brings its own set of features and innovations. The Strike One Speed is optimized for rapid shooting with enhanced ergonomics and a quicker trigger. The Strike One Ergal features an aluminum alloy frame, reducing the weapon's weight and improving balance. The Mark 2 represents an upgrade to the classic model with improved accuracy and additional functionalities.
The visit to the Arsenal Firearms manufacturing facilities provided the Target team with an in-depth look at the process of creating top-tier firearms. With their commitment to quality, innovation, and precision, Arsenal Firearms stands out as a leading manufacturer in the field of firearms. The knowledge gained from this visit will undoubtedly contribute to better customer service and expertise that the Target team can offer to their clients.
