The new semi-automatic pistol Arsenal Firearms AF1 Strike One is coming as a truly revolutionary firearm. The heart of the operating system enters the international, 120-year-old specific industrial design and production history with a completely new barrel and slide-bolt locking system, thanks to which the pistol and the end-user have completely new functionality (operator). This new patented locking system falls under the geometrically and stable category of locking systems, at the same time configuring the pistol as a linear locking system with the highest tolerances when attaching to the slide, which features an open (mechanical) sight. In particular, the new locking system allows the following notable improvements over traditional barrel locking and unlocking systems: 1 - Because it is positioned in front of the barrel area and the trigger assembly area, it allows for a much higher trigger assembly than traditional semi-automatic pistols with locking systems above the trigger (e.g., Glock, SIG-Sauer, Walther, Steyr, etc.). 2 - Because the locking system is made of two pieces, the locking mass is 10 times smaller, dramatically reducing vertical recoil of the moving mass. This factor improves control over the firearm and regaining sight alignment in a much shorter time. 3 - Thanks to the linear, fully enclosed barrel and double set of internal locking blocks with guided rails, moving the barrel on the sliding slide can be done with unprecedented tightness after the shot: this factor creates much greater accuracy in shooting and much longer survival of shooting accuracy despite wear, in the contact area, as the contact area between the barrel and the slide is 30 times larger than in other pistols. 4 - The internal locking system with a front trigger assembly and higher pivot trigger group allows the AF1 Strike One to have the lowest bore axis in the history of semi-automatic pistols: 12 mm. The user can see how this dramatic improvement minimizes the pistol's muzzle flip, allowing for an immediate recovery of sight alignment toward the target and, ultimately, control over the pistol and its effectiveness. Typically, AF1 achieves the maximum degree of muzzle flip, equal to 25° on the sighting and firing line, in contrast to other pistols with a muzzle flip ranging from 45° to 80°.
